Where do my credit alerts show up?

When you log onto the members-only dashboard, look for the 3-credit alerts tab at the top of the page. Click on that tab to review the alert you have received. Depending on the type of alert, you may also receive an alert suggesting you review your credit profile.

I received a credit alert, now what?

Great question! It depends on what type of alert/notification you receive. The first step is usually pulling up your report to verify whether or not the information in the alert is valid.

For example, any time you’re applying for credit, you’re likely to get a “new inquiry”. If you receive a new inquiry alert, simply check your report to confirm the inquiry was from that application process.

If you are not able to confirm an inquiry, try contacting the company who made the inquiry for more information. Checking alerts help you take the necessary steps to productively resolve any issues that arise.
